Admissions Process

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Gardner Academy. We look forward to getting to know you and are excited to get started! Our Admissions Team is here to help you through the application process. Below you’ll find an overview of what to expect. We are not currently accepting applications but hope to have our forms online by mid to late April.

Application Form:

  • Complete the application online (coming soon) and submit the non-refundable application fee of $75.

    If the application fee presents a barrier for your family to apply, please use the waiver code GA2025.

  • If you miss the April XX, 2025, priority application deadline, we still encourage you to apply so that your child may be considered in the next round of applicants should spaces become available.

Schedule a parent/child interview. (coming soon)

Report card(s) and standardized test results:

  • From the past two academic years.

  • Any reports from the current academic year (if applicable).

  • Please note: If you have the requested records, you may upload copies directly to your admission account.

Teacher Recommendation(s):

  • 5th Grade Applicants: One recommendation from the current classroom teacher

  • 6th Grade Applicants: One recommendation from the current classroom teacher

  • 7th-8th Applicants: Three recommendations from a teacher of choice, an English/language arts teacher, and a math teacher
    Note: teachers do not write a letter, but rather complete a form that you send from our online application portal)

Decision notification

Priority applicant notifications will be sent May 1, 2024. Once admitted, a minimum non-refundable deposit is required to hold a space for each student. After this date we will continue to accept students on a rolling basis until all classes are full.
